Special Events

The Opening Ceremony will occur at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum on Thursday night, October 4, 2012. Downtown Cleveland boasts an abundance of exciting destinations for those that want to venture out. You could visit an authentic Amish restaurant with an Ohio Amish mystery author. Why not visit the Superman House in Cleveland, or about 10 minutes away, you can also tour the Christmas Story (movie) House. You might want to take a trolley tour of the Lakeview Cemetery or visit the location of the 1930's Torso Murders. There will also be tours of both buildings of the Cleveland Public Library and the adjacent Cleveland Federal Reserve building. Visit world-renowned cultural institutions like the Cleveland Museum of Art or listen to the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall, just 10 minutes from downtown at University Circle.
